Jewels of the Harbor Healing Massage Studios' owner and licensed therapist Drake Marshall earned certification in manual ligament therapy. This is a fairly new massage modality that employs a lighter touch to increase range of motion and bring the space between joints back into balance without using a level. Drake's also well-versed in more traditional modalities, such as deep-tissue and swedish. According to Drake, massage can benefit people in all stages of life, even infancy, when it helps promote better sleep and boosts the immune system. He performs each session in a quiet treatment room decorated in warm colors of cinnamon, chocolate, and gold.
