Charles was recognized as head of the hair department on HBO's Emmy-nominated original film Lackawanna Blues, a position he has also held on numerous Tyler Perry films. With such commercial success, it’s not surprising that celebrities such as Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, and Raven-Symoné have also flocked to his talents. Today, after years spent teaching, medal-winning, makeup-academy-founding, and star-styling, Charles pilots his own salon’s team.

Amazing! Had to find my own parking but that was no problem since it’s in the middle of the city. Everyone there was so nice and I felt so comfortable & pretty, like a princess! Will go back! And definitely recommend!!! :)

I’d worked with Charles over 20 years ago. When I saw this Groupon special I jumped on it right away! They did not disappoint. Song I and Ayanna were amazing. I made a Mommy/Daughter event. My daughter is 23 Ha! We will definitely be back!! It was rainy so we both did straight styles.
