Piedmont Summer Sprint, Atlanta

Since it opened in 1895, Piedmont Park has played host to numerous historic concerts, exhibitions, and sporting events. The Piedmont Summer Sprint adds yet another chapter to the park's lore, all while raising funds for the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces in support of the local arts community. Created by the L Movement, which also engineered events such as the SuperCon Fun Run. The Sprint sends participants of all ages jogging or strolling across the iconic grounds for an afternoon of fitness and fun. Piedmont Summer Sprint proudly partners with the Piedmont Arts Festival so that guests can enjoy a day of fun, art, music, food trucks and local merchants following the race.
