At a Glance

The readers of Creative Loafing Atlanta voted Stoddard's Range and Guns "Best Shooting Range in Atlanta" in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016. In addition to the amenities of the range itself, much of the credit for these accolades go to the NRA-certified instructors, who teach courses such as basic handgun classes. Firearms experts also run the gun shop, where the staffers sell firearms and perform services such as cleaning and scope mounting.

We went as a group of 6. It took 45 minutes to get checked in. Once we checked in they handed us a basket with equipment. We were new to the facility. No one accompanied us to the range or even asked if we needed assistance. When called in for assistance we were asked if we ever shot a gun before. Well needless to say, we are all licensed carriers and one in our group works for law enforcement with many years of experience. The employee was advised that we all were new to their facility and equipment and needed to know how to run their computer system. We realized that one assigned lane was broken and they new it was broken. The second employee told us to share a lane and explained that they were busy and their was nothing he could do. Poor and pitiful customer service!
