This is an exceptionally well designed and fascinating museum. Their use of historical video and audio footage is powerful and moving. The decision to integrate the museum into broader global human rights issues works exceptionally well. I thought I knew a lot about the civil rights movement in the US, I had no idea!

This Museum is a must visit when in Atlanta. It's entertaining but also it's though provoking and it even might move you to tears. With interactive exhibits, films and music, you'll really learn a lot about the South's civil and human rights history and struggle.

Nice place to visit. Lots of information - some you may not have known. The lunch counter exhibit was very realistic. Would visit again. A must for any visitors.

Most amazing experience.... Great for all ages... for the young to know the history and how much we have evolved, for the old to realize how hard the battle was and the victory that was gained. Extremely well done in telling the stories and painting the picture of the pain, suffering, and triumphs. The international section was profound to see how much hatred and cruelty there remains in the world. HIGHLY Recommend it to all residents and visitors of Atlanta.

I absolutely would recommend any and everyone to walk through this EXPERIENCE...allow lots of time...I didn't realize how in depth this center was, I am currently planning my next visit, the information was so vast that I just couldn't take it all in in one day.
