In 1981, Dino Ciccarelli exploded onto the NHL with a record-setting 106 points and 55 goals in his rookie season. Nearly 20 years later, he cemented his place in the Hall of Fame with a total of 608 career goals scored—the ninth highest in the league. But his career was to have another highlight off the ice: in 2011, he opened Ciccarelli's 22 Sports Bar, a neighborhood spot where sports fans are welcomed by a mile-long bar lined with 40 big-screen HD televisions. Game-day viewing might get customers in the door, but it's the food that makes them really feel at home: the menu features old-fashioned pub burgers, classics such as fish and chips and grilled chicken breasts, and a pizza menu where each pie is named after a famous Red Wings player.
