Captain Bob was awesome. He made it a really fun experience, and actually told some stories about Austin that I'd never heard before.
Managed to get on the waiting list as we hadn't had time to book ahead - great tour and our driver Eric was fun, full of knowledge and a great guide!
So much fun. Captain Eric is hilarious!
Our driver spent more time talking about gossipy stuff (who lived where, who was doing construction, how much they spent) rather than on the wildlife, history of the lake, etc. He didn't even mention the Old Bakery and Emporium (one of the oldest buildings in Austin) or several other landmarks. I'm from Austin and went on the tour because I work in the tourism industry and I like to try things before I recommend them. This won't be at the top of the list I'm afraid...
It was so much fun!!! I strongly recommend it, worth every penny!
Very,Very Fun. Eric was great with the stories, questions, and stupid punster jokes.
Very informative and fun, great for long time residents and guest in town.
Very entertaining and informative.
This was an awesome tour, the tour guide Bob was amazing, i learned a lot about Austin in that short period of time. He was very entertaining. I went for my birthday and i was serenaded so cool. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
From Our Editors
As the distant sound of chattering-duck calls grows nearer, visitors to downtown Austin know that the colorfully painted Duck Adventure amphibious vehicles aren’t far behind. On board, knowledgeable guides regale sightseers with facts and stories about local sights and landmarks, pointing out the State Capitol, detailing the history of Sixth Street, and addressing all of the parking meters by their first name. After their land trek, the vehicles pack in their wheels and launch off the shores of Lake Austin for an aquatic tour of the lush, scenic lakeside.
