About Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-In

10 years ago the Cascade movie theater closed in Vail. 7 years ago The Blue Starlite Mini Drive-in opened in an alley way in Austin, Tx. Here is more on the Blue Starlite Drive-in! 2 years ago The Blue Starlite High Rockies opened in Minturn, Co. for annual summer Drive-in seasons showing movies that were popular when YOU were! With the opening of the new Talisa Hotel the owners of the abandon movie theater next door reached out to the Blue to see if we had a vision for it's revival... and we did! The Blue Starlite has created a one of a kind movie experience for the High Rockies based on it's 7 years of outdoor movie experiences and years of showing couples and families a special night at the movies. Our latest concept is a cross between an Art/Revival house movie theater and a Supper Club. Why just go to a movie, when you can go to a Movie Party! We can't wait to share our new Vail Valley Night life experience with you, as well as our Matinee Madness, and special Saturday Brunch screenings coming soon! Watch movies, socialize, dine, and dance at the Blue Starlite Dine-in Movie Theater and Cinema Supper Club!

This was a fun yet quirky experience. Josh the owner was honest to deal with. The movie was great, screen very watchable and the audio excellent. Try it, it’s not Cinepolis but a small backyard movie setting with a small concession stand.

My very first drive-in movie. What an amazing experience. Felt transported back in time. Only gripe is, I wish they confronted/penalized people who don't turn off their lights cause they can't read a car user manual.
