1840s Carrolton Inn, Baltimore

Nice place to go with someone special. Only two blocks from Little Italy with great resturants and only a short walk or free bus ride to the inner harbor area.

We stayed in Carroll suite , which was nice & quiet despite a busy street running along one side of the bedroom. Can park next door in church lot during daytime, but at night have to park in a lot 3-4 blocks away and then walk back to Inn at night in borderline neighborhood. Parking was available on the street near the Inn but we were advised not to park there as cars have been broken into overnite. Fourposter bed was comfy but so high my 75 yr. old wife with mobility problems couldn't climb up into it without my moving a hassock from elsewhere in the suite to serve as a stepstool. Recommend Inn provide short ladder or stepstool in such rooms. Room fridge freezer didn't work properly.

Fabulous location and the breakfast was great.
