We went to play 18 holes on a beautiful 80 degree fall day in shorts and tshirts. By the 8th hole it started raining and getting windy. Soon it was 44 and we were on the turn. We asked for a rain check and they denied us because we were part of group

The golf course was excellent. Challenging and fun. The resort bar and grill stops serving burgers at 6pm though..which forces guests to the expensive on-site restaurant. Local bar and grill Ferry X-ing was a great substitute.

Devil's Head GC is a very scenic fun & challenging golf course. They have 2 - 18 hole courses to play. Both courses have some great holes. Matter of fact my husband & I are playing the course again tomorrow 9/14/14. The only con was the golf cart, for it had tree sap all over it from being parked underneath pine trees. So your hands got sticky from the steering wheel, etc.
