I tried to use my groupon 3 times and every time they were closed. One time I went in to inquire about their hours and asked if I coul use their groupon at their other location in Sandwich and they said no. So I finally went in on the day the groupon expired and asked if I could extend it a couple of days because they were always closed and she said no and I complained about their always being closed and she then said I could have used it at their other location which I then told her that she told me the opposite earlier in the summer. My husband and I went back a few hours later to have lunch and it was awful - I will truly not recommend the restaurant to any one. Bad food Bad Customer service....
Ribs were incredible! Very meaty, and cooked to perfection!
Will definitely return for more!
Great BBQ hidden in behind Home Depot...
Porky's made using the Groupon very difficult. Conflicting & outdated information on their web site and on facebook. Several weeks closed w/ their phone unreachable instead of a message. Firm 'No' to any time extensions on the phone. At the nearly empty restaurant, they were much nicer and the food was overall good enough.
Finally found them open on our 4th attempt, previous visits they were closed during hours/days they advertised as being open. Went at Noon, we were not able to get ribs or smoked meats as they weren't ready. Counter woman was rude and surly. We would not return.
Make the side portions a bit more generous, the beans and cole-slow are terrific, but the portions are a bit skimpy.
Best BBQ on the Cape................Cheapest trip to the South on the Cape!!!!!!!!!
From Our Editors
The aromas of hickory-smoked meats and rotisserie sauces spiral upward from the dark, wooden tables at Porky's BBQ and Grill, a haven for lovers of all things barbecue. Here, tangy tastes range from St. Louis–style ribs to Texas-style beef brisket to slow-baked beans culled from the bubbling pit of barbecue sauce that lies under Kansas City. As patrons dig into Southern sides, rustic aluminum siding and tree-trunk poles conjure the atmosphere of a country hideaway. In the winter, Porky’s opens its doors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and serves dinner Thursday–Saturday during the warmer months of May and beyond.
