1. Finding out after purchasing the groupon that ALL the enters were not allowed to be ordered was very offputting and started the whole experience off poorly. 2. Almost two hours for apps and pasta main was very slow, especially in an almost empty restaurant. 3. The food we were allowed to order was good but didn't really make up for the bad start, I don't like feeling that I didn't get what I paid for, I suggest if you are truly losing money on the groupon you cancel you agreement as soon as possible before it damages your reputation beyond repair.

Service was slow. Back of restaurant was filled with extra furniture, it was like sitting in my garage. The front tables were so close it was hard to get in the chairs.

Appetizers and dinner were very good. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We did find that their wine selection was limited, which is surprising since they are located right beside a LCBO store and should be willing and able to get whatever wine is requested by a customer. Otherwise, we enjoyed our evening there.

Great look & feel, service was great! Food wasn't warm though :( and the fresh herbs were huge wilted leaves in my meal. I would give it a second try though!

Q&A with the Owner

In your own words, how would you describe your menu?
Classic rustic Italian fare with a flare for the romantic - the food of love!

Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
We are a family-run enterprise looking for long-term, loyal, passionate employees and customers. We are an environmentally conscious, animal cruelty-free restaurant. We offer gluten-free and vegetarian choices. Our produce is locally-grown in season and we use non-GMO (genetically modified organism) products only. We support local growers and producers of fresh farm produce and wines and Canadian-made products. Our beef and chicken are free-range, cruelty-free, hormone-free fresh Grade A Canadian. We do not offer Veal on our menu due to the cruel and inhumane methods used to produce it.

Are there any dishes on the menu you consider to be a hidden gem—not necessarily the most popular, but surprisingly delicious?
Yes, the Casanova gniocchi appetizer is a hidden gem. It is hand made gnocchi, pan-fried and served with a gorgeous sundried tomato rose sauce and garnished with pine nuts. It is to die for!
