Excellent food from an excellent Italian menu.
Food was fantastic as usual and great service
Seated by a noisy wedding reception, which was partitioned off from the rest of the guests. Ordered a penne pasta meal, but received a substitute as they ran out of penne. Was offered to order something else only after the dish for my husband and myself were served. So, I asked for a free dessert and got it! Very nice! We waited way too long for our bill to be paid. Good food, less than average service.
The food was good as usual, however, they have condensed their menu and no longer offer the large variety that they used to offer. If you loved their baked mosticolli like I did, you are out of luck.
Friendly staff, great food!
We've been to Aliano's many times but this time wasn't good. Bread was very hard like croutons. We requested fresh bread & it was not much better. Chicken Parm entree was pretty bland. Not like previous visits. Salad was good.
Erin was a great server. Food was very plain. Great bread and oil mix. Slow sercice.
Total zero. Washroom tanks needed cleaning. Overheard server talking about new ownership.
From Our Editors
When Mario Aliano set out to start his own restaurant, he kept three simple principles in mind: pizza, pasta, and friends. Today, that triumvirate remains on the crest of Aliano’s Ristorante, emblazoned across an Italian flag that symbolizes their dedication to old-country recipes and hospitality.
Though the piles of pasta, piping-hot pies, and pressed sandwiches evoke the flavors of the distant Italian countryside, all of the dishes are homemade with fresh ingredients. They also look closer to home for inspiration, drawing on Italian-American inspirations to concoct Chicago-style pizzas famous for thick crusts that stay anchored to the ground on windy days. Occasionally, guests can enjoy occasional live entertainment from musicians and comedians—if they can pry their attention away from the veal cutlets or pastas piled on their plates.
