The restaurant closed down before I used my vouchers.:(
The food other than the sushi is pretty good. People are nice. Actually I heard this location of this place closed.
There are 2 locations. I prefer the one on Corporate Blvd. Its's larger and has a better selection of food.
It was actually closed the last time I tried to go! Groupon had to extend the expiration date for me.
I will go back if/when it reopens.
I purchased the voucher for a special occasion coming a few weeks later. Three weeks passed, was treating my sister to birthday sushi, get to the restaurant and it is no longer in business. Dark space, no signage, with a big wrought iron lock on the doors. Believe me when I say upsetting. I notified Groupon and within a day or so, was credited the amount spent on the voucher. That was a plus for Groupon, negative for Kaminari (Corporate Blvd. location)
It felt grungy and unkempt
appears to be out of business
Bought two Groupons, one for me and one for a friend. Loved it when we redeemed mine. When he went to redeem his, the restaurant had closed. No explanation sign on the door, the lights were out and the doors tied shut with bungee cord. Disappointed because the food was wonderful.
Attentive service, wide variety of choices and good food!
From Our Editors
The chefs at Kaminari specialize in Japanese cuisine, from delicately rolled sushi to hibachi steak straight from the grill, but their culinary talents don't end there. In addition to serving lightly fried veggie tempura and chef's specialty rolls, such as the Pink Lady Roll, made with snow crab, crawfish, and avocado, the kitchen also produces Chinese fried-rice dishes and chicken pad thai.
