About Northeast Snowmobile Rentals

Northeast Snowmobile Rentals has locations in Gorham, New Hampshire, and Fryeburg, Maine; that puts them right next to the vast system of snowmobiling trails near the White Mountain National Forest and surrounding areas. Head to one of their facilities and you can choose from a herd of brand new Arctic Cat snowmobiles, as well as single- and double-sleds.

The team has mapped out a well-marked system of trails where you can take self-guided snowmobiling tours. Beforehand, a team member will equip you with a helmet and a map of the area so you won’t have to ask a local moose for directions. Northeast Snowmobile Rentals can also equip riders with boots, gloves, bibs, overalls, and jackets for each journey.

I felt like Northeast should have given us a heads up on the poor condition of the trails. I did not feel safe during parts of the experience.

hard to redeem Groupon. I called three times from Jan to Feb, finally settling on a Sunday in late March, when the snowmobiles clearly suffered from poor maintenance.Of our three snowmobiles, one wouldn't go into reverse, and made strange sounds at low revs, it bothered me to operate it.The other cut out twice before we even took it away, there was a discussion on whether we should even use it. But they gave it to us, and it cut out over and over on the trail. Finally we had to be rescued, and the owner (who was very prompt and knowledgeable) changed a spark plug. It had to be raced hard and fast back to the shop, splitting our group. Another group had the same issue with theirs same day.

Moriah and the staff at the Gorham location were exceptional. The trails needed to be marked a little better.

When i booked the reservation the owner was really aggravated and said that using your company (Groupon) was the worst thing he ever did and that you would never see his business again. To be fair, the people in the shop were very nice and helpful.
