Service could be a little better. Staff did not come around much to check on us and were rude when we arrived. They also required we pay with cash because the bill was less than $20. i will not eat there again.

They told us we needed a reservation and there was at least 10 tables open. The host, who was also the bartender was very cocky and rude. The food was good, even though they did give our dish to the table next to ours, then hurriedly prepared our food incorrectly.

We buy Groupon/LivingSocial, etc. at a discount to investigate whether we would be willing to return to a restaurant, etc. at full price. Good location, easy public parking nearby, nice wait-staff. I ordered the rack of lamb, cooked medium. This is a dish that lists on the Divino Lounge menu as regularly costing $30.00. What arrived were 4 TINY baby lamb chops plus 1 (ONE!) slice each of green squash and yellow squash accompanied by a scoop of tasteless mashed potato encased in a helmet of stiffened melted cheese. Most of the lamb was cooked to my specifications, but the "largest"chop was still quite rare inside. At $30 I hoped for a serving of vegetables that did not look an afterthought or the chef's interpretation of "art" on a plate. Add to that a screaming (and I do mean screaming) child whose high-pitched shrieks overwhelmed the atmosphere of an underwhelming dining experience. I can think of at least one nearby restaurant (La Ferme on the Chevy Chase-Bethesda border) that would have made that $30 for lamb worth my time and dining experience. Please note that we still tipped 20% to the wait staff, but I can't imagine I would return to Divino as a customer and then pay full menu price for their offerings.

From Our Editors

At this authentic South American steak house, customers never want for options. The menu of Argentinean meats and seafood is buttressed by a selection of more than 30 hot and cold tapas and a colossal wine and martini list of international libations. The sips cool overexcited taste buds and pair with lauded entrees such as the parrilla of bone-in short ribs, singled out by Washingtonian as one of Bethesda's greatest dishes. Popular seafood platters arrive in the form of whole lobsters, accompanied by enough seafood paella to sate two diners. To ensure that their sizzling meats are shared with the masses, chefs can also export the fare to private bashes or teddy-bear picnics with catering services.

The eatery's décor reflects its exotic eats: spotlights set orange walls ablaze and highlight paintings more colorful than a Rubik's cube hidden in jello. Clusters of leather couches exude a casual air, providing a sleek contrast to the chic table settings and white linens at booths and tables. Proving that elegance needn't be fussy, customers can also master dance steps at milonga lessons on Wednesdays or host parties in the space almost every day of the week.:m]]
