The Silver Spring store "repaired" my iPad very poorly and will not fix their mistakes. I have talked to them once and they just declare that the mistake is what iPad's do when repaired (the screen is separating from the back it has been 3 weeks since repair). My husband also talked with them and they were extremely rude and not nice to either of us when asking if they could fix their mistake. We blame them for this mistake as it took them 2.5 days to get the repair done after telling us 4 hours. We repeatedly called them to check on it and it took them till the end of the second day to get it in the machine and instead of letting it process for the appropriate time I am pretty sure it was fast tracked because they forgot to fix it. I would not recommend this place for iPad repair at all.

Sorry to hear that your iPad screen is not acceptable. After looking into the situation and getting feedback from colleagues this is a common issue to happen. We recommend a closing-type case such as otterbox defender to force the glass to push down. Any amount of extended pressure from clamping from the shop will create more problems. Apple provides iPad replacements starting at $249. We charge $55-$75 for this job, and the price is do to the overall condition the device will be returned in. Unfortunately this is not something that can be changed. There isn't anything that we are able to use, like krazy glue, as this will create a chemical "fog" on the glass and the chemicals could damage the sensitive internal components. Again, we apologize for this issue but it is unfortunately beyond our control. We thank you for your business.
