I purchased a groupon deal on Mar 24 2019 for $19 which gave me a 3 month membership to Lit Method. After the first class, I canceled on their site right away as I realized it was not for me. Upon sitting down to do my taxes this year, I had come to realize that Lit had been making unauthorized charges to my account every 3 months: 6/24/2019 for $35.99 9/24/2019 for $35.99 and on 12/24/2019 for $35.99 With the total amount of unauthorized charges being $107.97. I contacted Lit by phone 2 times in February, no returned call. I emailed on Feb 9th, no response. I was sent an email on March 22nd offering me a deal from them, so I replied to this email stating what I shared above and again no response. I emailed again on March 24th and finally got a response that someone would take care of this promptly. On March 27th, I received a refund for $35.99. I the 28th I contacted them yet again, stating that this was not the total amount due back to me and an additional $71.98 needs to be refunded to my account immediately. On March 30th, I received a response stating: Hi Rio, I have sent this over to our billing department and they will be reaching out directly! Not to worry, we will be contacting you shortly and be on the lookout for additional refunds. Stay safe, stay LIT! On April 6, I still had yet to receive these funds, nor did I hear a word from them I emailed again... no response. On April 9th, I emailed again... and received the following response: Hi Rio, Sorry for the delay here. We are working on getting back to everyone as quickly as possible. I had our team look into your account we have already issued a refund of $35 and we will be issuing you another refund for $35 today. We understand that you are requesting additional refunds but we looked into your account and you had an active memberships with us as you signed up for a 3 month online membership. We will be charging you the original purchase ONLY and refunding all additional charges. We appreciate you understanding and hope you stay safe! Thanks! _______ I responded that is inaccurate. I never purchased a 3 month online membership through them, it was through groupon for $19 which required me to set up an account through their site of which I canceled immediately after the first class and never signed in again. I even sent them a receipt of this purchase through groupon to prove this was the case and again, no response. There should have been absolutely NO additional charges to my account. I have gotten the run around from this company and lack of care and of follow through in resolving this matter is mind boggling. They still owe me $71.98. I do hope they tend to this matter and we are able to come to a resolve. I never write things like this probably because these kind of things don't happen to me directly, but because it has, I felt the need to share my honest experience, because it just isn't OK. Period.

HORRIBLE customer service. Ignores emails regarding subscription issues. Total regret and wasted money.

This groupon gets you into a recurring charge. Be cautious!
