Closed the day we were supposed to be moved and with NO notice. No wonder they had to close. They suck

All moves are scheduled by appointment only, via our office phones with our staff. After booking and reserving your move our system sends out a text confirmation along with the information that you provided, move date, (eta) arrival time. On the day of your move if we have thunderstorms and/or heavy rain, we have no other option but to reschedule your move, we do send out a text with a follow up call to reschedule you. Please keep in mind that while it might be clear in your area we could have scattered thunderstorms and heavy rain throughout the City causing delays. Our movers are not allowed to move in heavy rain/lightening or thunderstorms. If you have any questions our team would love to hear from you at americaneaglemoving@ymail.com. The most unprofessional company I have dealt with. I waited six hours for movers that never showed up. They called and were exhausted. I had no desire to begin a move after 6pm. I was suppose to be the first on the schedule the next day, but once again not happening. Hoping I can get my Groupon money back. Use any other moving company but American Eagle! Poor customer service. And they don’t care!!!!

Joyce, Our apologies, but unforeseen accidents do happen, the mover that was on your assigned truck for the day got injured and was not able to complete your job/last job of the day. Typically we have other movers that could have helped out, but we were booked. Your Groupon will be refunded and again our apologies. Two stars because the job was done. If you don’t live near Greystone, don’t use this company. The Groupon is real. But what they don’t tell you is that the clock starts when they leave their facility on 280. And their drive time is like 30 minutes to get to Birmingham. By the time they get to you, you’ll have to get whatever you want moved loaded in 30-45 mins, to allow for unload time.

Hi Jennifer, The drive time (to your address) and all other details of the coupon are listed prior to purchasing, along with our address. We have a two hour minimum, plus drive time. We have GEO tracker systems on our trucks to determine the time used. Your scheduled time and info is texted out to you the day you book your move date. You could have used as much time as needed to load and unload your items, we do not rush our customers.
