About BrickFair LEGO Fan Expo

What services does your business offer?

Inspiration, education, envy, amazement, awe, beauty, cleverness, fun, constructive. A great LEGO experience afternoon. - We turn mom and dad into Supermom and Superdad.

What makes your business stand out from the competition?

We are run by fans, for fans. Our fun grows from the roots. We are cheaper than our ($22/person) competition. We have bounce houses. We have smiling exhibitors with great models, trains, etc (the other guys just have activities, but no real displays.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

I love LEGO! - I want to LEGO party!. I want to hang with my LEGO friends. Creating an event warms up the creative juices, almost like building with LEGO bricks

What do you love most about your job?

I am surrounded by LEGO all the time. Adult fans of LEGO (AFOLs) are really cool people. Selling FUN for a living is awesome. LEGO is awesome. Everything is awesome.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

Smiles, always lots of smiles. - Word-of-mouth referals. - Repeat visitors year after year. - Donated LEGO to us to help keep our show awesome and fun! (we donated them to charity) - Flew in from UK to see our show! - Former public visitors a year later turn into exhibitors with models to show off = our party grows even bigger.

No strollers allowed. No lego figures dressed up in costume (for kid's entertainment). Mostly table top displays of elaborate lego sets and of course tons of merchandise for sale. First time going, my boys are 5 & 11, they were bored quick. Probably better for adult collectors. Definitely needs for kids' things. Yes there were bouncy house, no thanks.
