A toy chest that's been around for over 45 years is bound to be quite the treasure trove for kids, and the Toy Chest is no exception. Originally opened in 1970 in Nashville, Indiana, it first displayed a model of the Hagenbeck-Wallace Circus. A second location is now open in Bloomington boasting more than 3,000 square feet of specialty toys, books, games, and puzzles—along with at least a few thrilled children at any given time. Its offbeat collection includes the kinds of playthings not always found at larger stores, so even parents might find themselves intrigued and surprised by what they find here.
