Gregory's Fine Tailoring, Boston

For 35 years, the team at Gregory's Fine Tailoring has helped people salvage ill-fitting garments by performing expert tailoring and alteration services. They can do work by hand or machine, whichever is more appropriate, and are known for working with trickier textiles such as leather, fur, and suede.

Gregory's is housed in a 9,000 square-foot space, which gives the team plenty of room to design the shop's custom garments or find out how far they can throw a sewing machine. They make men's pants, suits, and shirts onsite, and allow clients to choose every detail, including fabric, buttons, pockets, and collar style. Their boutique is also stocked with brand-name apparel by Southwick and J. Manzoni, as well as shoes, thread, and buttons.
