Should shout out Morning Glory Cafe to all who have loved Poppy - we only learned you were closing by going in for, what turned out to be, the last time and then learned of Morning Glory. See you soon.
Well, they're closing down shop...
Easy to drive right pastmmmlocated on first floor of the Peleton multi-story appts
Poppy Cafe is a fabulous restaurant, I am so happy I found this group on because I wouldn't have gone otherwise and I would have missed out on a real "gem" right here in Boulder. The cafe is small and cozy with elegant decor and wonderful food. Plus it has the best lemon drop martini in town.
This is such a special place; excellent delicious healthy food, really nice quiet homey friendly atmosphere, in summer; great terrace…. great to not worry about 'gluten free'. Don't miss this treasure. Sandy
The service impeccable and the food just phenomenal! All cooked to order, delivered at perfect temperature and delectable. This is a jewel in Boulder. Seriously, never mind most of the high priced, what's in for the foodophile crowd - about the best food you can get with very personal attention. Right up there with L'Atelier which is also at the top of the list and superb!
Poppy cafe was a sunny spot for a quick lunch. The food was fresh and tasty. Though it is tough to see from the street, it must be very convenient for residents of the Peleton complex.
The staff was amazing and so nice. I really enjoyed my meal as well!!! I have already been telling friends about this place.
Great service, great food, thank you.
A gem of a restaurant. Good food and friendly people.
From Our Editors
As the catalyst between farm and plate, the chefs at Poppy Cafe know that fresh, local ingredients create the most flavorful meals. The café serves up organic and gluten-free meals, homemade libations, and freshly baked desserts. A selection of signature sandwiches—such as the rosemary-roasted turkey, pesto, and provolone—highlight the lunch menu, and dinner entrees feature the ponzu halibut with parsnip purée, rainbow veggies, and sautéed spinach, or crab-and-ricotta-stuffed ravioli in a sun-dried tomato cream sauce. For an expertly prepared breakfast, diners can munch on gluten-free blueberry pancakes or a denver omelet with bacon, cheddar, and avocado, paired with a Solar Roast coffee or Peace and Love tea, which may cause road rage within 30 minutes of drinking.
