Ryu Koyama, Certified Rolfer, Boulder

Developed by biochemist Ida P. Rolf, the practice of Rolfing sets out to restore balance to misaligned bodies. As a certified Rolfer, Ryu Koyama works on bringing about this balance through the hands-on manipulation of connective tissues. Ryu often performs these treatments in series of 10, working strategically from the surface layer of connective tissues on to the deeper core layers. The end goal is to improve the range of motion and to have all parts of the body working together as a whole, just like all the tiny people working inside a Swiss watch.
