Captain John Blenker of Five O’Clock Charlie Boat Tours knows his waters well; he spends every day navigating the Manatee River and Tampa Bay, conducting everything from 90-minute wildlife cruises to full-day trips to Egmont Key. He pilots a 23-foot-long hurricane-deck boat, allowing a small group passengers to visit historic marine sites, such as the beach at De Soto National Memorial, or to ride in comfort as they spot manatees and dolphins and explore the biodiversity of the estuary waters.

We had a wonderful morning on the water - saw multiple schools of dolphins closeup. Captain John is very knowledgeable and personable and his boat is clean with a canopy for shade. He provided binoculars and fold up guides of birds and fish for us to look at during the trip. We highly recommend Five O'Clock Charlie Boat Tours!
