Lee House Restaurant, Brandon

I had a bad experience at Lee House. The restaurant refused to honor my groupon for the paid value after it expired. After much explaining that Groupon's policy is to honor the prepaid value they relented. After placing an order, I had to wait 40 minutes for my meal. The service was not attentive or friendly. Needless to say, I won't be back or recommend them.

The food was really, really good the night we used the Groupon, and the second time that we went back for lunch. I plan to eat at your restaurant again. -- Heather

On the evening I went to Lee House, with friend, they were a bit backed up. Apparently, any other diners had a certificate tht would expire that day. Althopugh the restaurant was not very crowded, the two waitresses were over-worked trying to take ordes mand deliver food to the tables. Myself and several other tables waited over an hour to receve any food. Our appetizers never arrived. Two other diners got up to go complain to the poor waitresses; whose hands were tied. What the problem was is vdry clear although managem,ent never came out front or did anything to alleviate the bckup. Besides the in-houe diners, the telephone kept ringing and they continued to take take-out orders. My impression was tht this was not an efffective way to conduct their business. The people sitting down waiting for their meals were neglected and the two waitressess were overworkd. The food was good but also not enough.
