Appreciate the home cooked meal, but the breakfast potatoes weren't fully cooked.

The food was ok nothing special and nothing worth a hefty price tag. Let's just say if I didn't have a discount with a groupon I wouldn't eat there. I came in on the last day the groupon was good and had a egg sandwich for a take out. The website stated that they were open till 5:30 however there was a sign on the door that they will be closing at 2pm. I think its a bad idea to close early on the last day of the groupon and not indicate that on their website. Yes, the website does state that the kitchen closes at 2pm however, the groupon was good in the store. What if i wanted to use it in the store? Fortunately I came in before 2pm. I waited 40 minutes for a sandwich. I have never heard of anyplace that took 45 minutes to make a lunch for a take out when nothing had to be cooked. Additionally, there were 3 people in the kitchen and 4 people in the cafe dining. Most people have 30minutes for lunch and many place guarantee to have you out in 30 minutes or less. Needless to say I was late back from my lunch as I still had to drive back to work. I would say the restaurant needs to speed up their lunches especially when they cater to a lunh crowd.

On the last day of the groupon the cafe closed early. I went back the next day to use my $15 groupon and explain about yesterday. The person working there said sorry and would not honor it. They would only honor the $7 I paid for the groupon. Ok, so I wanted to get a variety of cookies or muffins and the person working said I could get 2 baked goods for my $7. WHAT??? I got one cookie and I muffin. What a rip off that turned out to be. I will not go back there and the baked goods were not that good. Most certainly not worth $3.50 each!
