Tony Pittinaro first opened Tony's Shoe Repair in 1937. The shop has relocated since then, but stepping inside still feels a bit like stepping into the past. An ornate fireplace flickers cozily, and table lamps cast a glow over chestnut leather armchairs. Cobblers discuss shoe-repair needs with their clients, striving to uphold the same level of service that Pittinaro offered his customers decades earlier.

Not everything at Tony's Shoe Repair is from the past, though. The shop's cobblers are well-versed in modern repair techniques, and can skillfully resole a shoe or fix a damaged heel using high-end equipment. Guests can also shop the store's stock of shoe-care products, including laces designed for specific activities such as hiking, dressing up, or tying every piece of footwear in your house together.
