Bought a prenatal massage for my wife. Called to schedule it and the lady over the phone advised on a weekend fee. Not a problem as I paid it over the phone on the spot. Demeanor of the associate over the phone wasn’t as friendly as I would hope but I let it go. Wife goes in for the massage and the associate was getting an attitude with her about redeeming the voucher and continuously questioned her about the weekend fee which (again) was paid but it “wasn’t showing in her notes”. After confirming multiple times and redeeming the voucher she finally got her massage. Wife said the massage was great and the associate apologized for her demeanor after the massage which is what prompted the 4/5 stars
Note to management/mentioned associate: please have a little patience with customers and make sure all notes are accurate up to date.

This was THE WORST massage I have ever had, and I've have had my share of massages from Groupon. My husband purchased the Three 90-Minute Deep-Tissue Massages with Elevation Groupon and I had such a bad experience that I only went to one of the three massages.
Rhonda started 15 minutes late. Granted I filled out "paperwork" and went to the bathroom, but I just figured she'd make up the time at the end—I wasn't even there a full 90 minutes.
The place is filled with weird tchotchkes and smelled like very strong incense, there was R&B music blaring from the hallway, and when Rhonda finally came into the room, she smelled strongly of weed. She told me I didn't have to wear my mask, so I assumed she would wear a mask—wrong. I laid face-up while she talked at me about "fake news" really close to my face in a small un-ventilated room. I was sure I got COVID and quarantined for two weeks after the massage.
The massage was not a massage – it was light stroking motions up and down arms and legs and then she found a few knots in my back and proceeded to work on them to the extent that I was grimacing. She also took a flinch from me as sciatica, so proceeded to "work on my sciatica." It was so hard and she worked on those same spots for so long that I felt like I got sciatica from her massage. I was honestly worried it would mess up my back. I tried to say something but couldn't get a word in edgewise. I was sore for three days and had bruises on the spots where she worked out my knots. THIS IS NOT A MASSAGE.
The lotion she used was so strong-smelling that I had to take two showers, wash all of my clothes inside out and air my coat out for a few weeks to get the smell to semi go away.
Rhonda left twice during my massage to talk to someone who came in the back door, even though they were closed. Suspicious... She also used one of those times as an excuse to get me a bottle of water—I've only ever received water at the very end of a massage. The massage ended in 45 minutes, but I was more than happy to get out of there.
I had to pay the exorbitant "fee" that "Groupon charges", as others have complained about here, which made the Groupon not even worth it, and I felt very pressured to leave an undeserving tip. She also tried very hard to sell me on other services and book my next massage right then and there.
My body finally healed, and in order to try to not waste the entire Groupon, I called four times to reschedule my second massage (I figured another masseuse might be better) but each time they just took my name and said they'd call me back after they checked the schedule. No one ever called me back, but it was honestly worth it to not go back for my health.
Their website is all lies and stock images; I honestly feel like this business is a front for something else. As much as I want to support a Black female-owned business, this is not an honest or good business, and you shouldn't support them.

The massage was great. When I was being massaged. My therapist was in and out of the room several times getting hot towels and fixing the music… Which was R&B. Good music, just not in a spa. It came from a speaker in the hallway sitting under a chair so it got louder every time the door was opened. The massage rooms had curtains blocking the sun, except on the top where the light would creep in.

A very good massage. The fine print is why the "fine print" gets a bad name. The Groupon is for 42% off the full price. However, at the time of use, a 20% service fee on the actual price of the service is charged. Not sure what the service fee covers. Also, 90 minutes of service was purchased. We started 10 minutes late and ended 10 minutes early. All in all, still a good massage, but buyer beware of the "additions" and scheduling limitations that you are committing to when purchasing this time-limited groupon.
