Dragon Star Supermarket, Minneapolis

This is such an interesting place. It's always an adventure because of the language differences. I first tried to redeem my voucher one day when my friends were already here and seated. Lo and behold there was a staff shortage so I was shutout as they closed early. Fortunately there was a farmers market in the parking lot. I made my own Crawfish Boil. My second trip was luckier after 15 min. (expected) I had my Crawfish Boil and was on my way. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The Golden Star market is quite an experience.

Authentic & tasty! Both the Pho and Boil are exceptional. The Pho has a fragrant broth with all of the sides that you'd expect. The sauce for the boil is excellent with lots of garlic, lemongrass and butter. Literally finger licking awesome.

The Pho & Boil Counter in the back of the store is authentic fare. The Pho is fragrant and the XL is a great value. Guaranteed to walk away full. The boil sauce is amazing. The garlic, butter, lemon grass and spices are amazing. The quality of the crawfish can sometime be spotty, so get the shrimp. Get it all to go and get messy at home.

Food was good. NOTE:print off voucher. The lady at the deli asked for a hard copy and I wasn't prepared as I was used to showing my voucher number on my cellphone. There were some language barrier as well.
