Parrot Eyes sits on South Padre Island, flush with the bayfront. The spot is perfect for noshing on seafood and watching a sunset, or kicking off an aquatic adventure even more exciting than showering without your swimsuit on. The eatery's team embraces this duality, too, happily helping visitors do either.
When it comes to food, the team stuffs tacos with fish, fry up platters of shrimp and oysters, and grill bacon cheddar burgers, all of which can be enjoyed outside amidst salty breezes or inside by the fully stocked tiki bar. As for adventures on the waves, the team facilitates those by renting out vessels from jet skis to fishing boats. Fishermen, especially, are in luck—if they bring their catch back to the restaurant, the chefs grill it and then pair it with a choice of two sides.
