OC Salsa specializes in beginner-friendly Salsa, Bachata & Cumbia group lessons. No partner or experience needed—just show up. Our professional, friendly instructors follow a proven program developed over 15 years, designed to help total beginners learn fast. Classes are 60 minutes, giving you time to practice, improve, and feel confident. Most students come alone, making it easy to meet people, make friends, and have fun. No special shoes required—just the desire to dance.

What inspired you to start this business?

I (Esteban Conde) moved from Argentina at 18 without friends or English skills, and salsa became my refuge. It gave me confidence, community, and joy. Dance transformed my life, so my mission is to make it easy for beginners to feel welcomed, supported, and uplifted—just like I did. I believe dance has the power to help people feel better, connect, and find a place they belong.

What do you love most about your job?

I love seeing people change—physically, emotionally, and socially. Students come in stressed or shy, and leave smiling, energized, and proud. Dance brings people together in a way that nothing else does. Watching students grow, make friends, and fall in love with dancing is the best part of what I do.

Best reaction you’ve ever received from a customer?

Students often tell us OC Salsa has changed their lives. Some met their partners here, some overcame loneliness or depression, and many call OC Salsa their “salsa family.” Those moments remind me why I do what I do—creating a place where people feel happy, supported, and connected.
