About New Wave Cable Park
Two towers jut out of facing beaches, joined by cables that span an unusually placid portion of Lake Lanier. When Wake the Lake Cable Park's small groups of customers suit up, however, the cable comes alive, towing boarders to and fro at blistering speeds. Nestled in a secure inlet surrounded by white beaches, the Park is sheltered from boat wakes so that beginners can acclimate themselves and can safely try out new tricks. A brand-new kicker box makes it even easier for boarders to grab some air and, for advanced riders, fistfuls of cloud.

The website wasn't very informative on the set up/ directions. No signs once within the property & we had to call twice to get there. The cable operator wasn't helpful (we were told we would get a lesson). Another guest heckled me & nothing was done

This is not as advertised on groupon, which said one hour per person. The 15 minute lesson promised was not given. We 4 people recieved a combined lesson of 5 minutes, and the lesson was not interactive and on the rope as promised. We each got less than 10 minutes of wakeboarding time, when we were promised 1hour 15 minutes each. We feel very ripped off by Groupon and Wake the Lake Cable Park.

The workers are very chill, and the other wakers are extremely courteous. Try going after the "sunny" hours (12-4). We went when the sun was blazing and it made it hard to sit around and wait. Definitely a fun experience though!

We purchased 4 groupons for Wake the Lake Cable Park for $35 for a 15 minute interactive on the water lesson and 1 hour of Wakeboarding.. The 15 minute lesson promised was not given. We 4 people recieved a combined lesson of 5 minutes, and the lesson was not interactive and on the rope as promised. We each got less than 10 minutes of wakeboarding time, when we were promised 1hour 15 minutes each. We feel extremely CHEATED AND RIPPED OFF by Groupon and Wake the Lake Cable Park. I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE.
