Excellent learning experience. Friendly faces, fun atmosphere and very welcoming to beginners while being able to challenge all levels. Felt welcome and respected and was able to see different styles of defense.

was not a good instructor. embarassed and belittled me in front of other students when I could not keep up with fast pace due to my physical issues/ limitations. Always picked on me in front of others. I felt so hurt and bad that I didn't end up going to my last class. I'd rather lose my money than keep feeling bad by this mean person.

We understand your feelings, we really do. We honestly tried everything we could to get you to have fun, participate, wear shoes, and be a part of the class. When nothing else worked, we teased you a bit (in a friendly way) as we do with the rest of the group to let you know you were welcome with us and that we care. Honestly, when we asked you to wear appropriate clothing and shoes and you refused, I should have let you know you wouldn't be able to participate. These are manditory, for safety, as is participating in the warm up which you also didn't want to do. If you decide you actually want to be a part of the group, come prepared and actually participate...I will honor your Groupon and let you retake/train those classes again.

Steve was very attentive and informative about the meaning and intention behind every move He would also share fun stories & anecdotes to keep the class fun
It was only my first day but I'm excited to practice what I've learned and take it to the next level
Also---my body hurts in more places than I thought were possible But the good "I did something productive" hurt
