Raid the Room, Burlington

Two things separate Raid the Room from your usual team-building escape room. First of all, there's nothing to escape. Teams work together to conquer the room's series of mental and physical puzzles. Secondly, no matter how many times you've tackled the game, randomization keeps even seasoned Raid the Room players on their toes.

Designed by a data analyst and a cyber security program manager, the rooms push groups to their limits with complex, detailed challenges. Eight players at a time blend their collective wits to piece together puzzles and outsmart spacial-reasoning games. And while they're trying to pull that off, the game designers throw a few monkey wrenches into the works with boss-level challenges at the 45- and 15-minute mark.
