Your company should be ashamed for taking advantage of customers by using tune up services as a way to get into their home and frighten them into purchasing maintenance programs, expensive "system renovations", or hyper-inflated part replacements that may not be necessary, but there is no way to know. This visit, combined with 2 previous visits have eroded my confidence that Genz Ryan has my best interests in mind and I will not believe any further recommendations by your service technicians.

The guy did a nice job and seemed straight forward in discussion our older furnace. Only bad thing was the length of time it took to make an appointment. I bought the Groupon and called in for an appointment in October and the earliest Genz Ryan could be here was March 11th. But overall it was a good purchase.

Sevice Tech 'Jeff' flat out lied to me. He told me the furnace blower motor had a bearing that was shot and that Lennox no longer makes the component. I told him that I've already located Lennox motor # 60L22 as available from several suppliers. He then told me that he had a universal 1/2HP motor in his truck but that he did not have the motor "mounting bracket" - that it was back ordered and that he could come back the next day to finish the motor replacement. I didn't bother to tell him that I already knew the 3 mounts were welded to the motor and are not available as a separate bracket. I later called Genz-Ryan and cancelled a follow up appointment with Jeff.

It was great that we got an appointment right away. I was worried that we would have a long wait, due to all the groupon coupons sold. They were awesome!
