What was the inspiration to start or run this business? KATS is the Twin Cities original airbrush tanning studio, founded from the need for a sunless option, since then we have continued to be the leader in the industry. We are able to make the airbrush experience available to a wide range of customers to try, and fall in love with, of course.

What do you love most about your job? Everyone leaves with a smile. The variety of customers makes it fun. Whether this is for a special event or a quick, easy, and affordable way to splurge on yourself in a clean, comfortable, private, and relaxed environment.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer? We frequently have customers with Vitiligo come in (skin discoloration condition), but one stands out in particular. She had lived her first 45 years never seeing herself all one uniform color. She stood in the mirror staring at herself, teary eyed. It's those moments.
