At Mazar Mediterranean Restaurant, the chefs whip up the staples of their namesake cuisine: falafel, shrimp skewers, and hummus. As in the Mediterranean region, diners can eat these dishes al fresco, and follow their meal with a bowl of hookah if they so choose. However, the bartenders have embraced globalization, rather than perfect authenticity. They complement meals with beer, wine, and a touch of Mexico: salt-rimmed margaritas garnished with fresh fruit.
