We dreamed of creating the perfect place to dance, a place that would be more than just a dance studio., Since 1986 DC has always been Calgary's leading Social, Latin & Ballroom training studio, with the opening of the new DC Dance Club Ballroom, the atmosphere is like no other club in Calgary.

Whether you are a absolute beginner or you've been dancing for years, we will provide you with a fun and rewarding experience through our classes and social dance events. We have several great options that you can fit into your busy lifestyle, and no partner is necessary to join the fun!

Our dreams and passion of the love of Dance.

What do you love most about your job?
The answer is simple, We get to teach dance from the first step on the floor, adults, youth, babies, dance exercise to competitive and teacher training with the top teachers around, Love Dance to Love

Not a dance class, and there was no one there. I felt a little mislead.

Hi, a social dance is not a dance class, as it states in the Groupon, it is a social dance, sorry that you felt mislead, but not sure how this can be misleading as it says social dance? Regardless we do have group classes that you are welcome to attend on any of the regular group classes, but all classes require registration, if you would like to contact us I can see if we can get you in to a drop in dance class to make up for it. Hello, the purchase is for social dancing, not for a dance class, as stated in the Groupon, so it is not a dance class, you are correct? Sorry that you misunderstood your purchase, all of our group classes require registration This being said we are happy to let you try a group class on a Friday evening drop in class, you can get in touch with us by email or by phone, and we can complement you both a class to make up for it, below is yes the social evening that you purchased, apologies, give us a call and we can get you started. Social dancing after dark Saturday Night for new students to DC Makes a great date night or fun evening with friends DC Dance Club is fully licensed with a stocked bar Saturday nights DC plays a great mix of Country , Latin, Ballroom and Swing music This deal is for new people to DC Dance Club to come out have some fun an try something different. good experience, learned something, hoping for more lessons on the more common dances like two step, jive and poka.

Hi Thank you for your review, we value feed back from our customers, glad you are learning and having a good experience. Wednesday and Friday evenings are specific to Latin and Ballroom and Swing, jive is commonly known as EastCoast Swing, which we do teach on these evenings, no sorry we don't have polka or Two-step in this category, we do however have some great Two-step and country classes at great deals at this time for registration, especially for Stampede, if you are interested in registering for this you can see anyone at the front desk ;o)
