After taking a good, hard look at the food Americans eat and the process it goes through before arriving on their plates, the owners of the Green Room Bistro & Juice Bar found not only cause for alarm, but also the inspiration to open their own local foods restaurant using many organic products. With a firm belief that good food can also be exquisite, the restaurateurs teamed up with local farmers to assure their menu presents only the freshest and healthiest unprocessed proteins, vegetables, and fruits available. Dishes such as regional, grass-fed beef burgers, vegan portobello burgers, and gluten-free apple walnut salads come packed with nutrients and flavors, just as Mother Nature's son Carl intended. To complement the green cuisine, the owners set up a juice and beverage bar that slings fruit smoothies, Oogave natural sodas, and Peace Coffee.
