1.What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

Kovar’s offers a variety of programs. Whether it is core martial arts program, jiu-jitsu or krav maga, our members never get bored. We incorporate positive messaging to help members learn to think positively, and re-train their brain out of previous ineffective patterns and habits. You won’t find a better community of members and trainers that will constantly encourage, and support each other both in and outside of class.

2. What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Kyoshi Dave Kovar has been passionate about martial arts, fitness, health, and positive thinking since he opened his first school in 1978. Our programs have allowed us to focus his passion into creating a place where students can make lifestyle changes – changes that stick and lead to happier, healthier lives.

3. What do you love most about your job?

Seeing progress with our individual members. We get the opportunity to facilitate big changes in people’s fitness, health, and overall outlook in life. It doesn’t get any better than that!

4. What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?

The tears of joy from a member or their child when breaking through limiting beliefs and realizing their true potential.
