Ray was a great instructor! He was patient, knowledgeable, friendly and motivational. I would definitely recommend to a friend for a great intro class! The only thing I wish they allowed is tandem flights. I think that would really be a spectacular end to a great class with Ray.

Parking could cost more than the Groupon itself: He charges $30.00 per person, so for us, that was $60.00 in total for 3 hours of parking. That's more than Manhattan Parking. Scheduling was horrendous. A person arrived 1 hour later and he admitted he didn't even know the person was coming. It disrupted our lesson. Plus, he was understaffed and as a result, called his 13-year-old son in half way through the lesson. There was no wind. There is a disclaimer that if there is inclement weather, the Groupon will be honored another day, but it doesn't talk about when there's no wind and you can't even do anything. The weather didn't cooperate

Ray is such amazing man and instructor... After hanging around with him, listening all his interesting stories, I felt I knew him for years... He was very professional though, and gave his best to teach us paragliding... for those who take paragliding seriously and think of doing this sport regularly, Ray is a great starting point...
