What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Niji No Hashi Dojo means "The Rainbow Bridge," and finds its roots in the traditional disciplines of feudal Japan. Sensei Rodriguez brought the teachings from Japan to New York, and finally to North Carolina, where he continues to pass on the best of his multiple disciplines to his students.

What do you love most about your job?
Sensei Rodriguez relishes the chances the school provides for him to meet diverse people. His background and experience equip him to discern the best techniques for self-protection, and he enjoys passing these skills on to his students, knowing that they will be safer in an uncertain world.
