About The Candle Light Inn

What Candle Light Inn considers home, others call a landmark or monument. The house in which the restaurant resides has been part of the Catonsville community since the mid 1800s, when it was first built into the area's rolling farmland and called Five Oaks Estate. Since its birth, the building has survived various name changes, a multitude of owners, and even a fire in the 1970s, which left it vacant and with a terrible cough until the present owners, the Lombardini family, purchased it in 1979.

Today, the inn has fully recovered, and models a host of renovations that includes a covered outdoor patio canopied by forestry and surrounded by landscaped gardens. Different tones swirl through each of the house's quarters, along with the wafting scents of the hearty American fare that fills plates for lunch and dinner daily.

Please invest in new chairs so your customers aren't constantly fearing that they will go crashing to the floor. They are insanely wobbly and unstable even with the weak metal brackets that you've added. Please also teach your waitstaff to pay attention to their customers and not ignore them the entire time.

Don't weigh too much because the chairs are very wobbly and about to break. Service is horrible.

They are no longer in bussiness! They are close out of bussiness. We were there Jan 2,2014. The prices were terriable our bill was over $ 100.00 for 3 people. I had the beff tenderlion and the other two had the crab cake dinner. The crab cakes were no bigger than a bouncing ball. Portion sizes were very small and they did not even have a dinner roll or crakers. We did not have any mixed drinks. The waitress was very pleasant. That was about the only thing that was good about the place. They were closing Jan 5, 2014. i WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED! :(
