They charged me for extra money for some simple trimming... and the reason is just because my hair is ‘thick’... I don’t see it’s written in the groupon terms... will probably not go back..

If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I got balayage done by Keiulani and I am beyond impressed by the job she did. She transformed my dull faded previously-dyed hair color into such a beautiful blonde balayage. I truly can’t stop looking in the mirror! She was so personable and really took her time. She explained every step and made sure I was happy with the result. Will definitely be going back to her when it’s time for a touch up. So beyond happy with the result!

I’ve been to Monet’s before and loved it. I purchased the Balayage Groupon. Kay was AMAZING! She was fairly new but She was so polite and we had easy conversation that made the time pass quickly. She was understanding that I had to take a work call since the appointment ran long. I showed her what I wanted and my hair turned out better than expected. The owners need to keep her on board.

First of all, you have no choice on who cuts your hair because it's a groupon (discount). You get the least experienced hair stylist. Having said that, the stylist I was assigned to did a reasonably good cut. It wasn't exactly like the picture I gave her to follow but for the price I was okay with it. Owner wasn't friendly so not sure if I'll return to this salon. In this competitive field, customer service is very important which this salon is lacking.
