The owner and manager tried to charge me more for the massage after I already left the appointment. I made the appointment after my Groupon had expired (I knew I would only get credit for the amount paid for the Groupon). When making the appointment online, there is no place to state that I was using a Groupon. Then, I was called before the appointment, quoted a price and still was not asked if I had a Groupon (I did not think it was necessary since I knew it was only worth the price I paid for it). I was not asked about it when I went in for my appointment. When I was paying post-massage, I told the manager in training I was paying with my expired Groupon and covering the rest with my card. She said OK. There was no problem or concern. I left the appointment after paying. I was called 30 minutes later and told my card was being charged $40 more that what I was told since I used a Groupon. I told them I was never told the price was different due to using a Groupon. I asked to speak with another manager and she would not give me the name of anyone else I could speak to. I researched to find the owner of the business and asked for them to call me back. The owner was even more rude than the manager and argued with me about refunding the overcharge amount of $40. I argued my case because I knew I was right until the owner finally agreed to do the right thing and give me a refund. It was an absolute horrible experience and I will never return to their facility again and advise no one else to go there either!

Lindsey, when you called to make an appointment, you did not state that your husband had bought you an groupon or that it was expired. You simply inquired about pricing. We ask all clients at booking, how they heard about us, that is when they state groupon. You did not. It is a small percentage of our business, so not something anyone would constantly ask clients as they will buy one and get a decreased cost if new. You also did not inform us at any time that it was expired and simply put it on the desk and walked out after your massage, while the manager was on the phone with another client. We tried to call several times to explain there was a price difference when the voucher is expired. You did not answer. My cell phone is not given out to clients, but I did call you back stating the other locations phone number where I was working that day to discuss your situation. You did not call that number and called the original studio back. You were not forthcoming about anything prior to your massage and then upset when we told you there was a price difference. Sadly, your review is not at all reflective of what happened and a complete misrepresentation of the true story.
