It seems like no matter what a person's go-to comfort food is, they serve it at Pecan Grove Restaurant & Pie Company. Chefs begin each morning by greasing up griddles to make favorites such as chicken-fried steak skillets and pumpkin pancakes. As the lunch hour arrives, they switch to classic American cuisine, beer-battering and frying Wisconsin cheese curds, layering buns with barbecue pork and creamy coleslaw, and baking juicy chicken pot pies. But chicken pie isn't the main pastry here––the menu has four full sections dedicated exclusively to pies. There's German chocolate cream pies and sour cream apple pies served open-face, not to mention two-crust strawberry rhubarb pies, raisin pies, pumpkin pies, and French apple pies, which are just like American apple pies, except they speak with cuter accents.
