Stephanie Schmidt opened Verde Salon with a commitment to using only upscale natural and organic products. Even the salon itself was built on eco-friendly standards—Schmidt worked with a LEED–certified architect, who employed nontoxic stains and paints and set up the studio for water and power conservation. Services include haircare and waxing service and before each Holistic service, a spread of organic coffee and tea as well as dark chocolates is offered. Stylists then turn to the scalp, pampering it with products from Italy that add shine and color without stripping it of its natural vitality and strength, all while being kind to animals and the planet.
