Good selection of trees. Nice and helpful staff. Trees are grown in N.C.
Cranberry Tree Farm advertises freshly cut Xmas trees, kept in water until sale. The tree I purchased last week took up little water and the needles are already falling rapidly after a few days, although I cut 2-3" off the trunk at home and immediately put the tree in a stand with water and nutrient. Nice service on the sales lot, but a dried up tree.
Quick friendly service. No complaints
Poor selection, Exceedingly expensive!, Shabby service Shabby wreaths. Ended up going to Lowe's and got a beautiful 8ft tree for 30.00! A tree of similar size at Cranberry was quoted as 63.00 plus!
We have been getting our tree there for 12 years..always great guys working there!
Excellent customer service. We would buy a beautiful Christmas tree there again.
I would definitely buy a groupon again. With the price of Christmas trees being so high, the coupon makes it manageable.
I was led to believe by the groupon description that I was going to a tree farm and picking out a tree that would be cut fresh at the time we picked it. Instead, I drove and hour and a half to a parking lot, which I could have done 5 minutes from my home instead of spending the time and gas to go all of the way to Chapel Hill from Pinehurst. The address on the groupon was an empty parking lot with no trees at all. Called the number with no response. We had to google on my phone to find another address 20 minutes farther away just to find another parking lot with trees that had been cut down already. The tree is nice but the add was misleading. Not a good experience.
From Our Editors
Cranberry Tree Farm sources its fresh-cut Christmas trees from its own in-state farm. Visitors can select the perfect tree from among white pines, blue spruces, and Fraser and Concolor firs, ranging from 2- to more than 14-feet tall. The staff then cuts each tree on the spot and secures it to visitors' vehicles. Hand-made wreathes and garlands are also available.
