Neither pancakes nor beer were included in the "Pancakes and Beer 5K." The Groupon clarified that alcohol was not included, implying to me that pancakes would be. You show up and find a sign that delicately says "Want pancakes? $5 donation." If you want a place to sit down, you need VIP access. We felt a little slighted and ate breakfast elsewhere. They also did not play the National Anthem before starting the race. Roads were not sufficiently closed off; oncoming traffic was trying to inch its way through runners, and traffic was zooming by in the same direction feet away from runners.

Fantastic Race for a good cause. Will do it again next year!
